Details regarding next year’s race are being developed and will be posted on this website as soon as they are available.

The proceeds from this race will be given to Remedies Renewing Lives, a local not for profit agency that provides assistance and counseling to the victims of domestic violence.

The race site is located in Rock Cut State Park on the northeast side of Rockford, Illinois.

A full Olympic Distance Triathlon consisting of a 1500 meter open water swim in Olson Lake, a 40 km bike ride through northern Winnebago and Boone Counties followed by a challenging yet scenic 10 km run on the roads of Rock Cut State Park.

The swim will be an in the water “wave start”. Wave “assignments” will be published as race day gets closer.

Awards will be three deep including Overall Male and Female

There will be a team competition among any teams putting competitors in 10 different award categories (excluding relays) There is a price break for teams of ten or more.

Relay categories: Male; Female; and Co-ed

High School Relay competition for current students from the same high school.

Great Music and Food will be provided. There will be concessions available for spectators.

Besides the cash donation from the proceeds of the race; supplies are needed which are basic necessities that many of the clients of Remedies are living without. Anyone bringing any of the following can enter their name into a drawing. We are currently working with a few sponsors for some very nice prizes.

 Only new items please. This is a very tangible way to touch someone’s life at a time when they most need it. All donations will be given to Remedies. Please be generous.
